What is the lifetime of the Taara terminals?

In many locations where they are deployed, Taara Lightbridge links run smoothly over multiple years without any need for preventive maintenance.
How are software updates done?
Subject to terms in the contractual agreement, we provide files for all software updates or upgrades that enable access to the latest functionalities of the Taara link. To ensure minimal service disruption during any software updates, we will coordinate maintenance windows for software updates with your operations team, typically every 6 months.
In the event of hardware failure, what is your return, repair, or refund policy?
We will do our best to resolve any hardware defects through repair, return, or refund. Repairs may be conducted in country or in the U.S. by the Taara team, depending on the severity of the issue.
What's covered in the warranty of the Taara links?
Please refer to the Warranty terms on the contract.
What happens if the Taara link breaks during a software update?
The link has to be power cycled and brought back up.
Do we need to realign the terminals after some time?
No.
Can we undertake our own repair of the terminal?
No.
